Ok, so I just got back from Spring Fling. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is a family tradition that started with my Grandma and her three sisters. Every Spring they would go someplace warm and take their daughters and daughter in laws. Then their daughters got older and started taking their daughters and daughter in laws. I now go to St. George every year with my second cousins. Yes people, not only can I pick them out of a crowd I know their spouse's and children's names, where they live, if they can do a headstand or not and who screams when they get their eyebrows waxed. I had so much fun this year. We layed out, we ate, we shopped, we stayed up all night and talked, someone made me watch Twilight (ERRRRR), we laughed and we cried and then we laughed because we were crying. I seriously have the best family ever!!!! Thanks to Monica and Mckell for setting us up in an awesome house and to everybody else for coming and having a good time. I can't wait for next year.

P.S. Is it lame that I already made a paper chain to count down the days to next March?

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go. . . . Isn't that the cutest little bed head you've ever seen. Seriously, I love being woken up by that face every morning!!!!

Good Mother/Bad Mother????

This morning Ava climbed in bed with me and read me some stories. It was really cute, except that I have two children. While I was sleeping in, Grace pulled out the toaster plugged it in and made herself some toast with cinnamon sugar. Does that make me a good mom to have raised such an autonoumous little girl or a bad mom for letting a five year old use the toaster unsupervised?

Best Field Trip EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning my brother-in-law Zacc called and asked if my girls wanted to go to Mrs. Cavanaghs and put a flower on a chocolate. His mom works there and said it would be OK to come watch the assembly line. I thought: "Well, I have been on the candy factory field trip for preschool but, we don't have anything going on. So why not? It'll be OK." I could not have been more wrong. This field trip was AWESOME. From the moment we got to put on hair nets until we got to pick out any chocolate to taste, it was so cool. Here are some pictures to prove it.

Is there anything cuter than a baby in a hairnet? The rest of the folks in this picture are pretty cute too.

Watch out Lucy and Ethel!! Grace and Ava are doing a pretty good imitation of you two.

The girls went crazy at this point, and by girls I mean me. Check out my intense gaze at the chocolates. What I was thinking was: "Hello there delicate little heart. After I put these other two girls to bed you, me, a diet coke, and some of your friends are going to have a real good time." I am absolutely not ashamed of the fact that dropping pick up lines on chocolates (in my head) is the highlight of my day. If you feel sorry for me then you should call me and we can hang out. (But I will not share my chocolates with you.)

Thanks so much to Zacc and Collette. My girls talked about the chocolates the rest of the night! Too bad there won't be any evidence tomorrow morning!!!

Grandma Brady

My husband's Grandma Brady is in a wheelchair and all of the grandchildren are completely fascinated by that. About a month ago Ava called her the Grandma in the stroller, and we explained it wasn't a stroller it is a wheelchair. Well, at least she understood part of it. Last night she asked if we were going to go see the Grandma in the wheelbarrow.
