I am grateful for all of the teachers in my children's lives. It is not a profession I would want, but it is so very very needed. So I applaude you underpaid, overworked people. The summer off does not make up for all that you do. Thank you for making each day special for my children and teaching them the things I can not. To be honest sometimes helping them with their homework is enough to make me want to stab myself with a No.2 pencil.
